We invited Dr. Yen-Fang Huang (Research Fellow at the Center for Diagnostics and Vaccine Development, Centers for Disease Control) to speak on the prevention and control of Tuberculosis/HIV Infection for the Chronic Disease Prevention class. The lecture covered the transmission routes of these two chronic infectious diseases, their domestic and international prevalence, and key prevention strategies. Moreover, the class discussed practical challenges encountered in implementing prevention policies and their viable solutions.
