The Career Development Workshop was organized by the Office of International Affairs, featuring professional instruction from a campus lecturer of 104 Job Bank. The workshop focused on resume writing techniques and effective self-presentation. Through an employer-oriented perspective on recruitment standards, students were guided to better understand corporate expectations and strengthen their ability to present their qualifications effectively. Through lectures and interactive discussions, students were encouraged to systematically review their experiences and competencies and transform them into competitive resume content. In addition, practical sharing sessions helped students connect their personal backgrounds with career development pathways, thereby enhancing their career planning awareness, job readiness, and workplace adaptability. A total of 19 valid questionnaires were collected. The overall satisfaction rate reached 93.6%, with a perceived career development benefit of 92.6% and a 89.4% confidence level in pursuing employment in Taiwan. The results indicate that the workshop provided substantial support for students’ career development and job preparation. Regarding instructor performance, Ms. Hsu Chih-Yun received an overall teaching satisfaction rate of 93.60%. Her industry-based insights helped students better understand key elements of resume writing and effective self-presentation. Overall, the workshop effectively combined theoretical instruction with practical application, significantly enhancing students’ career awareness, preparation, and confidence. The program demonstrates strong value for continued implementation and refinement. The Office of International Affairs successfully concluded the “Resume Writing and Self-Presentation” workshop (Tianmu Campus) and extends its appreciation to all participating students for their active engagement. Special thanks are also given to Ms. Hsu Chih-Yun from 104 Job Bank for her professional and structured guidance. During the workshop, various learning activities were implemented to support student development, including: Analysis of key resume writing principles and common issues Group discussions to identify personal strengths and career positioning Peer review sessions for diversified feedback Practical advice for resume optimization and interview preparation The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating in discussions and demonstrating strong motivation for career exploration. The Office of International Affairs will continue to organize the final session of the workshop series, aiming to further enhance students’ employability and career readiness.
