Creative Dance Movement Programming and Design2

Participants divide into groups for free movement, transitioning from individuals to small and large groups to deepen their awareness of movement space, personal space, and shared space while dancing creatively with others. The instructor introduces an innovative use of cotton yarn based on the bamboo dance. Integrating spatial awareness, participants start practicing in pairs to familiarize themselves with the shared rhythm and space of the dance, building a relationship with their partner. This expands into groups of four dancing amidst the cotton yarn—a process requiring a concrete understanding of space and the use of the body to interact and communicate, thereby constructing a group movement model for the bamboo dance.
