We invited Dr. Hsuan-Hui Wang to present her professional work about individuals with learning difficulties, particularly in reading and writing challenges. This talk was part of the series in Introduction to Special Education for undergraduate students in the Department of Psychology and Counseling. Dr. Wang presented her research experiences and practical expertise in the field of reading instructions, interventions and assessment. She shared how she established collaborative work with classroom teachers, counselors and administrative staff at school to better support children/students with reading difficulties. Additionally, she encouraged the undergraduate students to explore their interests in becoming a helping professional and develop further collaboration with other professionals to best support children with disabilities.
