Fishing Village Intellectual Experience/General Course

This is a 2-credit general education course that will be offered to university students. The course will introduce the close relationship between people and the ocean, the life and beliefs of fishermen, the relationship between marine literature and life, the fishermen's views on the depletion of fishery resources, how to sustainably utilize marine resources, and the transformation and community transformation of fishing villages. Off-campus teaching is conducted at Badouzi Fishing Port and National Maritime Science and Technology Museum Park in Keelung City. This course aligns with many of the SDGs of the Sustainable Development Goals.
