We invited Dr. Marrisa Wu , the founder of "SEL in TAIWAN", to share her experience in obtaining a degree in School Psychology at the University of Melbourne, Australia, as well as the overview of the School Psychology training system and the practices in school psychologists’job. Dr. Wu explained the core issues about the characteristics of School Psychology, including the application and assistance of data support and evidence research to teachers and counselors in school. In addition, Dr. Wu also shared the current situation of the School Psychologist in Australia, as well as the objects and positions it serves, and also discussed the issue “Does Taiwan need a school psychologist?”. In school psychology, is also closely match with the social-emotional learning (SEL) . And the "mind set" of "social emotional learning" is extended to the entire public health , that there might have an opportunity to change the ecosystem in the school .
