The Pangu-Weather The Pangu-Weather (Pangu) is an AI weather model developed by Huawei and the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF). With the rise of global big data and the algorithms, the fusion of data science and AI applications has led to a new generation of weather forecasting models. In comparison to traditional numerical models based on physical parameters and dynamic equations, AI models, when paired with independent Graphics Processing Units (GPUs), can process more sets of data and complete computations at a faster pace.
