1. Brief description of activities The speaker is Director Zou, Director of the Day Care Services of the Eden Social Welfare Foundation. First, the speaker introduces the system of the disability care service resource plan, which covers the social welfare system, long-term care service system, health care system, etc. The Eden Foundation serves Persons with physical and mental disabilities include persons with intellectual disabilities, dementia, autism, chronic mental illness, and persons with physical disabilities. Secondly, due to the global labor shortage problem and the high staff turnover rate in day care and long-term care service institutions, the government has gradually increased the salaries of relevant staff and improved labor conditions in order to retain talents and stabilize employment. The speaker mentioned that one of the qualifications for relevant talents is those with special education expertise, and their positions include basic staff, supervision specialists, team leaders, and directors. At last, the speaker introduced the service centers of the Eden Foundation in New Taipei. The speaker took the Xindian Zhongzheng Day Care Service Center for adults with disabilities as an example to explain the activities held at the center. The speaker invites professors and students of our department are invited to visit the Day Care Service Center.
