Techniques and Strategies for Bilingual Instruction in Elementary School Sports Clubs

To address the 2030 bilingual policy, incorporate bilingual interventions in the classroom and extracurricular sports clubs. Particularly, sports-oriented extracurricular clubs present an excellent opportunity to integrate language. Starting with traditional sports in Taiwan, this course aims to connect the world through language and simultaneously ground itself in local content. Using jump rope and diabolo as examples, the curriculum will guide students in employing bilingual teaching techniques and strategies within sports clubs. This combining language and physical activities, students can engage in a dynamic learning experience that bridges their education's global and local aspects.
