Project background: The French National Dance Center (Centre national de la danse, hereinafter referred to as CND) planned and launched the Camping event in Paris in 2015: a two-week art festival/platform consisting of workshops. As a tool for educational promotion, Camping has planned a series of venues where students, professionals and amateur art enthusiasts can gather and communicate. For example, every morning, students from different fields from all over the world will be invited to share a class and a half. In the hour-long class, we can learn knowledge in different fields and exchange each other's customs and culture. Through one and a half hours, we can promote mutual communication and open up students' understanding of different aspects of performing arts. Because of this The diverse nature of the event opens up the audience for performing arts. The performance of students in the Department of Dance of Taipei City University (hereinafter referred to as the Department) attracted the attention of the Camping organizer. In 2019, they were invited to participate in Camping Asia. During the participation, they demonstrated the characteristics of the department’s teaching achievements and were invited to participate in Camping France again. However, in 2020 Global Affected by the raging epidemic, Camping was forced to be cancelled. In 2021 and 2022, we are still restricted by Covid-19 and cannot attend the invitation as we wish. With the affirmation and persistence of CND in inviting our department to Paris to participate in the event in consecutive years, the trip will finally take place in 2023.
