Teacher Yu Yanfang [Workshop - "Dancers and Their Place of Origin: Language, Physical Distance and Touch in the Dance Classroom"]: Introduction: Zhongli Hakka is an independent performer, creator and teacher. Currently, he is an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Dance, National Taipei University of the Arts, and an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Dance, National Taipei City University. Yu Yanfang's performances and compositions have been published in major theaters and art festivals in Europe, the United States, China and Taiwan. Using contact improvisation teaching as a medium for social dialogue, he shuttles through different forms such as dance, drama and live exhibitions as a dancer, actor, creator and teacher. Dancers are created in the classroom space. At the beginning, Teacher Yanfang asked everyone to spread out throughout the classroom space, inviting everyone to feel comfortable and relaxed during the walking process, and feel the smell, tension, layout, and layout of the space. The height, the feel of the floor, finding what makes you happy in the classroom, what makes you sad…. Finally find your own place in this space, lie down and feel the floor, feel the feeling of different people around you, you can make a choice at this moment, what do you want to change, what do you feel, what do you hear, every breath is different from your own Has the energy settled down? How deep is the breathing? How much time do I need to feel the changes in my body? Can I be myself? Move your body slowly to form a circle with others, a circle close to each other. Start appreciating people and being appreciated, looking around each other for 5-10 seconds. In the process of looking at others, you will gradually become more accepting of being watched. Start to release your fingertips to feel the shape of your soul today, release your feelings, let go of your intuitive feelings, face to face with others, and watch the process of drawing with another person face to face. When the process of depiction begins, we no longer define other people's gender and discover the originality of each person. We should try to find the uniqueness of others and no longer limit others' preferences for our appearance. Is it good or bad? Is it even possible to expect to be seen as competent? Then flow again, touch other people's spaces, and the density of each other's spaces begins to change. Open your arms to shuttle through other people's spaces, change the speed, and truly regard this place and environment as your own place of origin. There is no watching in the process. Being watched, physical proximity and distance between people, invitations to contact others, starting at any time and ending at any time, in this workshop you can choose the decision you want to make at any time.
