Core working methods of expressive art therapy: "Away from the center" self-healing experience workshop
1. Brief description of activities (1) Teacher Wenyuan explained Paul. Neil's theory of "working away from the center core", away from the center of the problem , to detach yourself from the problem situation and look at your own problems objectively from a distanced perspective, and to strengthen students' self-reflection and healing through this method in the process of practicing caring on the ground. (2) Morning experience activities: 1. Students are divided into two groups and each gets a stick. 2. One group followed the light music and tried to interact with the sticks, while the other group observed how they interacted and Feed back their most impressive points after the interaction. 3. Then, change to playing brisk music with a clear rhythm, continue to interact with the stick, and the observer will respond to him The different ways of interaction observed under two different kinds of music. 4. The two groups swap roles. 5. Finally, both parties dance to the music together. (3) Afternoon experience activities: 1. Students work in pairs and draw each other’s faces with colored pencils. Students are not allowed to look down on the drawing paper during this period. 2. The student will return the drawn picture to the other party, so they will get an image of their own face outline. 3. Students look at their own images to create freely and name their new creations. 4. Students work in groups of six and write a word, a word, or a paragraph for each other's image. 5. Write a meaningful piece of writing based on the feedback received and share it with the group members. Summary: Students used one word to describe what they learned today. Most people mentioned exploration, novelty, relaxation, distance, etc.
