The circle of kindness of "You and I share the same good" - Advocacy, care and field management of sustainable community - Exhibition of field practice course results

The Advocacy and Care for Disadvantaged Scenes course will be held from 113/06/07 (Friday) to 113/06/13 (Thursday) in the exhibition center on the first floor of the Boai Campus Art Museum. The course is taught by teachers Zhuang Minda, Teacher Li Jiaying, and Teacher Zhuang Jijing Together with teacher Weng Shiheng Tongheteaching hopes to identify the needs of disadvantaged areas or relevant social service units by visiting disadvantaged areas or relevant social service units, starting from the perspective of advocacy and care, and thinking about how to transform one's own profession into advocacy or caring services. The goals of the Advocacy and Care for Disadvantaged Fields course are: 1. Understand the situation and difficulties of disadvantaged groups, 2. Learn to observe and point out the problems and needs of the field, 3. Explore how one’s major can be applied to social practice, 4. Try to construct Possible advocacy/caring service plans, based on the above course objectives. The course contents include social thinking on accompanying the disadvantaged, running a care home: companionship and care of Babies Without Borders, visiting a care home, discussion on the survival rights of children with AIDS, psychological consultation and counseling for disadvantaged groups, and the rights of people with physical and mental disabilities. Improvement, visits to organizations with disabilities, how to improve the plight of disadvantaged communities through local creation I & II, social practice thinking I: problem exploration and definition, social practice thinking II: solution ideas, how to contribute one's own expertise , Social Practice Thinking III: Solution Details Planning, Social Practice Thinking IV: Solution Practice and other related courses. The planning team hopes that students who participate in the Advocacy and Care for Disadvantaged Situations course will have a deep understanding of the many neglected corners of society and the difficulties and challenges faced by people in these corners through the final results exhibition. This course exhibition not only showcases the knowledge learned by teachers, students and the planning team in the course, but also gives teachers, students and the planning team the opportunity to communicate with disadvantaged groups. interact directly with individuals to understand their needs and reflect on what we can do for them. Research and practice on different themes were displayed at the exhibition venue, including the living conditions of disadvantaged groups, the lack of educational resources for children, the loneliness of the elderly, etc. During the exhibition, many teachers and students from across the school provided many constructive opinions and opinions. Feedback allows teachers, students and the planning team to understand the challenges that may be encountered during the implementation of the plan and how to improve the actual results by improving details. The whole process made teachers, students and the planning team deeply feel that everyone should have the opportunity to receive fair treatment and help. We are also more convinced that through continued attention and practical actions, we can create a more friendly and inclusive society for disadvantaged groups. This course experience not only enriched the knowledge of teachers, students and the planning team, but also improved the professional skills of teachers, students and the planning team. With a sense of social responsibility, teachers, students and the planning team will continue to pay attention to and devote themselves to advocacy and care for disadvantaged areas.
