On July 2, 2024 (Tuesday), under the invitation of Chief Secretary Wang Shizhi, Director Liu Jianliang of Taipei United Hospital and the team’s project host Director Zhuang Minda, co-host Teacher Li Jiaying, co-host Teacher Huang Kaicheng, and co-host Teacher Weng Shiheng and Director of the USR Office Teacher Yu Mengzhe conducted the Taipei City United Hospital and Taipei City University "You and Me Together" at the Juguang Healthy Aging Empowerment Center of Taipei United Hospital (2F, No. 22, Wanda Road, Wanhua District, Taipei City) The cross-domain sustainable exchange and sharing of the USR project, the exchange-related records are as follows: 1. Director Liu Jianliang of the Municipal Joint Medical Center-Project Introduction Director Liu Jianliang introduced the Social Prescription in Taipei: Dementia Inclusive Prescription Project to the teachers and project team of our school. Director Jianliang’s sharing of the “Dementia Inclusion Prescription Notes” has attracted widespread attention in Taipei City. This project aims to respond to the special needs of patients with dementia, promote their integration with society, and improve their quality of life. As the population ages, As globalization intensifies, dementia has become an increasingly common health problem, which not only affects the patients themselves, but also poses major challenges to their families and society. Traditional medical methods alone cannot fully meet the needs of dementia patients. The concept of social prescription is proposed, which is to supplement medical treatment with social support and resources to help patients better adapt to social life. The core concept of the "Dementia Inclusive Prescription" project is to combine medical and social resources to provide services to people with dementia. Provide comprehensive support. This plan not only includes medical diagnosis and drug treatment, but also covers psychological support, social activities, environmental adaptation, etc. Director Jianliang believes that through this comprehensive support, we can effectively reduce the number of patients with dementia. of isolation and helplessness and improve their quality of life.
