Outdoor education, as a multi-sensory and interdisciplinary learning method, effectively enhances students' learning interest and practical skills. This lecture, titled **"Overview and Practical Observation of Outdoor Education"**, aimed to explore the theoretical foundation, design strategies, and practical implementation of outdoor education, while sharing observations and outcomes from the actual process. The lecture covered the following four main topics: 1. **Theoretical Foundation of Outdoor Education** From educational and psychological perspectives, the impact of outdoor education on students' cognitive, emotional, and social skills development was analyzed. Through case studies, the value of outdoor education in enhancing learning motivation and promoting interdisciplinary integration was emphasized. 2. **Design and Implementation of Teaching Plans** An in-depth introduction was given on how to design a successful outdoor education session, including goal setting, curriculum planning, site selection, and risk assessment. Using examples from different subjects, the session demonstrated how to translate theoretical knowledge into practical activities on-site, ensuring both educational and fun elements in the experience. 3. **Field Observation and Learning Feedback** The speaker shared experiences from several outdoor education sessions, ranging from nature ecological visits to exploring historical and cultural sites. They explained how to guide students to actively engage in learning and critical thinking in real-life situations. The session also discussed how to collect learning feedback and use it to inform subsequent teaching improvements. 4. **Challenges and Innovations** Common challenges in outdoor education, such as resource limitations, safety considerations, and student management, were discussed, along with innovative solutions and collaborative models. Additionally, the use of technology was explored, such as mobile learning tools and virtual reality, to extend the depth and breadth of outdoor education. The lecture concluded with an open discussion where attendees eagerly shared their personal experiences and insights from outdoor education, creating a rich knowledge exchange platform. Participants generally expressed that the lecture provided them with a more comprehensive understanding of both the theory and practice of outdoor education and inspired new ideas for designing innovative teaching activities. The outcomes of this lecture not only highlighted the importance of outdoor education in the classroom but also emphasized the necessity of continuous exploration and innovation, laying the groundwork for more diversified educational practices in the future.
