2025 SEL workshop Day 3
This activity centered on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) for teachers and utilized diverse forms of guidance and experiential activities to help participants gain a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of SEL. The course began by approaching SEL from multiple perspectives, guiding participants to recognize its importance in holistic development, and emphasizing its key role in self-love, empathy for others, emotional awareness, and interpersonal interactions. Through practical examples and various experiential activities, participants were able to directly engage with and clarify the core concepts and related competencies of SEL, further deepening their understanding of its overall framework and applications. During the workshop, participants had opportunities to practice self-awareness and to apply SEL strategies through hands-on activities, discussions, and reflections, enabling them to grasp the essence and application of SEL more thoroughly. According to the survey results, participants reported a 100% overall satisfaction rate with the activity. Feedback also indicated that the program helped learners view themselves and their situations from new perspectives, enhancing their flexibility in approaching challenges in both life and learning. The experience further strengthened participants’ motivation to continue exploring SEL and to reflect on their original purpose for engaging in social and emotional learning. Overall, this program not only supported teachers in gaining a deeper understanding of SEL but also helped participants recognize its practical benefits in the workplace, in teaching, and in everyday life.
