“Stories of Giftedness”: The Practice of Higher-Order Thinking and AI Integration in Junior High School Mathematics and Science Gifted Programs

This activity is centered on advanced-level and gifted education practices. Through the use of authentic case studies, participants are guided to understand the cognitive characteristics and learning approaches of gifted students, as well as to develop a concrete understanding of how higher-order thinking is manifested in classroom settings. In addition, AI-supported tools such as Canva Live are incorporated to facilitate interactive engagement, demonstrating the feasibility and advantages of integrating technology into instruction. Through this process, participants learn how to effectively apply a variety of digital tools within their teaching practices.
