The department chair used class meetings to discuss the psychological adjustment to studying at the master class with the students and share information about the master's program courses. In addition, he taught techniques for finding advisors and how to seek assistance from the department chair when encountering problems. The second half of the course involved sharing key points and precautions for thesis writing through journal articles.
