2026_1142 A delegation from Tamagawa University visited the Department of Early Childhood Education at the University of Taipei.

This exchange focused on "English Immersion in Preschool Curriculum" and "Teacher Training Systems". The Taipei City Department of Education has established resource centers to promote integrating English into daily themes like cooking and sports, rather than teaching it as a standalone subject. The seminar also explored the "Full Inclusion" model for special education, emphasizing that special education and preschool teachers should collaborate within regular routines instead of using pull-out instruction. Furthermore, both parties compared teacher training by contrasting the systems and professional development mechanisms of Taiwan and Japan, providing vital references for future policies on preschool-to-primary transition and special education integration.
