2026_1142 Seasonal Integration into Floral Arrangement Area Activities

The instructor used “instant scene cards” to explain today’s visual art creation experience and how to guide young children in the process. When planning learning areas, it is necessary to first analyze the characteristics of the materials. For example, pom-poms are considered “point materials,” pipe cleaners are “line materials,” and fabric is a “surface material.” Since the tools required to attach these materials can be more complex, it is important to think about the purpose of the children’s creative work in order to provide appropriate materials.In the hands-on session, students worked with instant scene cards. Finally, they were guided to appreciate the artworks and learn how to “co-construct” them into a single piece, transforming individual parts into a unified whole.
