A Gym Built on Exercise Prescription

This lecture was truly very enjoyable to listen to. The speaker’s presentation style and manner of speaking felt warm and approachable, without any sense of distance or superiority. The content of the talk was not overly complicated, and there were not too many difficult technical terms. The pace was just right, making it easy for the audience to follow along naturally. One part that stood out to me was when the speaker introduced the “Chuanyue” fitness clinic he founded. I thought this concept was incredibly impressive. It was my first time hearing about a facility that combines a gym with a clinic, allowing patients to begin rehabilitation and training directly after receiving a diagnosis. This model of integrating medicine and fitness is very innovative, and for people today who are passionate about exercise, it is truly convenient. I also believe that in the future, whether for professional athletes or for amateurs like us, there will be a strong need for this kind of specialized setting to both manage sports injuries and improve physical performance. In addition to the speaker’s professional insights, the part about networking also inspired me a lot. He mentioned that sports are one of the best ways to expand one’s network, and that through exercise he has built friendships with people from many different industries. This really resonated with me. I used to think that socializing mostly happened at dinners or events, but I never realized that simply exercising and sweating together could also create such meaningful cross-disciplinary connections. In the future, I also hope to meet more people from different fields through sports or shared interests, and broaden my own perspective. I want to make the most of my university years by participating in more activities, stepping out of my comfort zone, and getting to know more people.
