This document examines the evolution of AI in academic research and teaching, evolving from simple external aids to core workflow components. In research, AI serves as a structured partner, streamlining literature review, design, and data analysis using tools like SciSpace and ASReview. For teaching, AI facilitates a shift from standardized to personalized instruction, enhancing classroom interaction and feedback. While AI excels in efficiency and concept extraction, it cannot replace theoretical judgment. Consequently, educators are transitioning from knowledge transmitters to learning designers and evaluators.
