Walking Together: Applications of Positive Psychology in Counseling Strategies for Students with Special Educational Needs

To enhance the understanding of resource center counseling staff at colleges and universities regarding Positive Behavior Support (PBS) and the principles of positive psychology; to strengthen their professional knowledge and skills in behavioral counseling for students with special educational needs in higher education; and to familiarize them with the application of various behavioral counseling strategies and tools in practical settings. Through the integration of theory and case studies, this workshop aims to equip counseling staff with the professional skills needed to provide positive guidance, behavioral support, and emotional regulation support when working with students with diverse needs. This will enhance their effectiveness in practical counseling settings, enabling them to effectively accompany and support students in adapting to campus life and promote their overall development.
