To strengthen the professional knowledge and skills of counseling staff in resource centers at colleges and universities in integrating counseling and guidance into special education practice, enhance their sensitivity to and ability to identify students’ emotional states, and promote their understanding of the principles for applying narrative and pictorial projective materials in counseling dialogue. Through theoretical instruction and hands-on practice, this workshop helps counseling staff master relevant counseling strategies and facilitation techniques. These skills enable them to conduct appropriate assessment, intervention, and support when addressing emotional and interpersonal issues among students with disabilities, while strengthening their professional judgment in the prevention, identification, and initial management of psychological incidents. Ultimately, the workshop aims to enhance the overall quality of counseling services and foster a respectful, diverse, and safe campus support environment.
