This activity focuses on the five key aspects of the language area—listening, speaking, reading, writing, and performing—to explore the concepts and practical approaches of language learning. From a developmental perspective, participants examine the spatial planning and environmental arrangement of the language area, while considering its educational purposes and significance. Through dialogue, discussion, and experience sharing, participants further explore the principles for selecting picture books and how to design an appropriate and supportive language-learning environment that meets the developmental needs of children at different age levels, enhances their interest in participating in language activities, and achieves an appropriate level of universal design.
